Electric assistance comes from the Brompton 250W brushless DC front-hub motor, powered by a removable Brompton 36V 300Wh lithium-ion battery. There is no separate conventional handlebar display; the Brompton Electric battery LED control/display panel provides battery and assistance controls. The wide-range 6-speed drivetrain combines a 3-speed internal hub with two external sprockets, while the battery can be quickly removed when folding or carrying the bike.
