Sell Your Electric Bike

If you wish to proceed with selling through our website, we require proof of purchase of the e-Bike to prove you are the owner. This can be in the form of a paper receipt or email order confirmation. If you have difficulty obtaining this please contact us and we can advise alternative proof. In certain cases we may need copies of ID to confirm ownership. 

Payment is made via bank transfer only.

Private Seller listings: Payment will be processed 2 working days after delivery of your e-Bike to the buyer. All payments normally take 2-3 working days to clear into your account. 

Guaranteed Option: An initial payment is made after successful inspection of your e-Bike and a balance payment is made when the e-Bike is sold or after 45 days if still unsold. All payments normally take 2-3 working days to clear into your account. 

Cash Option: The full amount is paid after successful inspection of your e-Bike. All payments normally take 2-3 working days to clear into your account.  

Private Seller Listings: We have a tiered fee structure depending on the final sale value of your e-Bike. Funds paid to you will have the following fee's deducted from the balance. 

Less than £1000 = 14%

£1000-£1500 = 13%

£1500-£2500 = 12%

£2500 or more = 11%

Cash Option: No fee's or charges

Buyers can only request a return if the item is significantly not as described e.g. faults with major components such as the battery or motor and/or the condition significantly differs from the description. Returns are not permitted if the buyer simply changes their mind or for minor issues. 

All buyers have 48 hours after delivery to check the bike is as described before we pay the seller. This is to avoid mis-selling and ensure a fair and transparent process for all parties. If the buyer makes a claim during this period, we will temporarily pause the sale until the issue is resolved amicably for both parties. 

We will arrange to have your e-Bike collected fully assembled via our specialist courier at no cost to you. 

We list e-Bikes from across mainland UK. If you are located in more remote parts of Scotland (Highlands) and offshore islands additional collection charges may apply and the fully assembled collection option may not be available (please contact us for more information).

For guaranteed/cash payment options you can visit our Hertfordshire depot (HP2 7FU) to drop off your e-bike instead of using the courier service. This service is by appointment only and with a prior valuation reference. Please do not turn up without an appointment as you will not be served.

Our guaranteed/cash offers are valid for 7 days. After this period, we will need to reissue a new valuation. 

We specialise in electric bikes, so we understand the differences between the brands and types of bike on offer. We calculate the value of your electric bike based on make, model, age, mileage and condition. Lower mileage electric bikes will generate a higher value as will electric bikes in excellent condition. Complete our online listing form with all the details of your e-Bike and you will get a estimated listing price range. 

It is in your interest to be as complete and open about the condition of your e-Bike. When your e-Bike is inspected and there are additional faults not declared or the condition significantly differs as described we may have to cancel the order and return the bike to you. 

We require all e-Bikes to be in reasonably clean condition so that the cosmetic and mechanical condition can be checked. If an e-Bike is received in heavily soiled condition we reserve the right to deduct a cleaning fee (see Terms & Conditions). 

Our name gives it away! We specialise in electric bikes only and we don't make offers for non-electric versions.

We only list working e-Bikes. Cosmetic damage is expected but any structural issues such as broken forks, motor, battery or electric issues will prevent us from accepting your e-Bike.
