Sell My Electric Bike

If you wish to proceed with the sale, we require proof of purchase of the eBike to prove you are the owner. We accept paper receipts or email order confirmations showing your details and the bike purchased. If you have difficulty obtaining this please contact us and we can advise alternative proof. In certain cases we may need copies of ID to confirm ownership (paper receipt or email order confirmation)

Selling privately can sometimes get you a higher price, but it can also come with some unwelcome surprises. Dealing with numerous 'spammy' enquiries is very common, no-show appointments, non-payers after auction ends, not to mention the general time-wasters that seem to seek out higher value listings. Payment is made via instant bank transfer. We pay an initial payment upon inspection of your eBike and a final balance payment once your eBike is sold. If your eBike remains unsold after 60 days we automatically pay the balance payment.

Yes, if you are able to visit our Hertfordshire depot (HP2 7FU) you are welcome to drop off your ebike instead of using the courier service. This service is by appointment only and with a prior valuation reference. Please do not turn up without an appointment as you will not be served.

Once you have packaged your eBike, let us know and we will arrange a convenient day for our couriers to collect your eBike. Our couriers operate Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and will provide a 2 hour time slot on the morning of collection. We will email a courier label to attach to the box and full tracking will be provided. Your eBike will then be delivered to our depot the next working day. 

No. Our offer price is fully inclusive of collection and payment direct to your account. 

We require all eBikes to be in reasonably clean condition so that the cosmetic and mechanical condition can be checked. If an eBike is received in heavily soiled condition this will not only delay the inspection but we also reserve the right to deduct a cleaning fee (see Terms & Conditions). 

We only buy working eBikes. Cosmetic damage is expected but any structural issues such as broken forks, motor or battery  issues will prevent us from providing you with an offer price. 

We specialise in electric bikes, so we understand the differences between the brands and types of bike on offer. We calculate the value of your electric bike based on make, model, age, mileage and condition. Lower mileage electric bikes will generate a higher value as will electric bikes in excellent condition. Complete our online valuation form with all the details of your eBike and you will get a tailored price.

It is in your interest to be as complete and open about the condition of your eBike. When we inspect your eBike and notice additional faults not declared or the condition significantly differs as described we may have to adjust our offer.
